Where Intrinsically safe
applications are required or accepted, this unit
incorporates its basic operation from the base V100P
and is converted to the Intrinsically Safe model
with an internal I/P approved for these applications.
Intrinsically safe circuits utilize a safety barrier,
located in a non-hazardous location, in conjunction
with the IS positioner. IS circuits are allowed
in Cenelec Zone 0,1, and 2 and in Division 1 and
2 in North America. The V100E-NI meets British Standards
BS 6941:1988, Non Incendive EX N II T6. |
