Third Class-“Digital Experts”
R to L-Sam Routh, Consolidated Pipe, Steve Hendricks, SDH Flow Controls, Steve Findley, Consolidated Pipe, Fabian Daniel, Fair Engineering, Chris Peeters, Star Marketing, Robert McAuliffe, Ecco/Gregory.
Naas DeJager from ABB was our digital trainer for a full day. He helped remind us why the D400 is the best digital positioner on the market. We have Hart standard and EX units in stock.

Our next class in September is already full, so we are taking reservations for a possible class in early December. We have been very pleased with the response to these classes and the eagerness for people to learn more about positioners and VAC services. If you want on the list, contact anyone at VAC/Chelsea-205-678-0507 or Randy in Houston 713-253-7781. We will make a decision on a December class by late September, to give us enough planning time.

We are pleased to announce the addition of Noah Greer Fleming to the VAC family. Jennifer gave birth to Noah on April 23.-5 lbs and 18.5”. Jennifer and Noah are doing well with Noah doing what babies usually do for the first couple of months-eat, sleep, and ????. He has almost doubled his weight since leaving the hospital, so he eats quite well. Jennifer is looking forward to returning to VAC as soon as possible. Yes the very proud grandparents are Wayne and Debby.

Handling Fee-It seems that the reinstatement of this policy has caused some questions. On all orders a $3 handling fee will be added just to cover boxes and packing material. It is a reasonable charge and a cost that we let slip as customers gave us UPS account numbers and we didn’t add the fees. These fees will be added to each order. Short paying this fee will result in further charges and possible credit hold on accounts. If you have any questions or comments you can call Wayne or Randy. Please make sure accounting and purchasing is aware of this fee.

V100/200 Improvements-The V100 and 200 will soon have the ABB EX Ip as our standard. The ABB Ip (old Sensycon) has been on the market for years and handles vibration very well. We are also looking at marketing this product as a stand-alone Ip-any feedback on this would be appreciated. We have a new dome for the V100 with a heavier material and brighter colors. The V200 has a new range spring, new castings, and some changes to the feedback components. All of the above changes are quality improvements, confirming our commitment to stay in the standard P and E business, while many are abandoning it, giving customers “no choice” in their options…or making the choice painful. We also have a new V200 low bleed (LB) pilot that at 60 PSI bleeds a very low .15 SCFM, and the performance remains very good and accurate. Remember we have the V200 EHT (extra high temp-325F) in stock.
